Sweet Heat Shrimp Tacos with Sweet Date Hot Sauce

Ingredients


•    1 tablespoon butter
•    ½ cup CW Dressing’s Sweet Date Hot Sauce
•    2 pounds large, cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cut in half
•    12 corn tortillas
•    1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
•    1 lime, juiced
•    Thinly sliced cabbage or Iceberg lettuce 

Directions

 

1.  Cook shrimp in a large skillet with butter over medium heat until heated thoroughly for about 4 minutes.
2.  Add CW Dressing’s Sweet Date Hot Sauce to shrimp and coat evenly, then remove the shrimp from heat.
3.  Heat one side 1 tortilla on an ungreased skillet over medium-high heat for 10 to 15 seconds. Flip; heat second side 5 to 10 seconds more. Repeat with remaining tortillas. 
4.  Fill tortillas with your choice of thinly sliced cabbage or iceberg lettuce. Add shrimp then top with cilantro and lime juice.
